About Theresa Beshara-Cox's case

According to 40/29 NEWS,

Arkansas rescue crews have found a missing hiker after she spent two nights in the Ozark National Forest. Theresa Beshara-Cox left Jasper Monday morning, August 30, 2021, planning to hike to the crag. She didn’t come back later that night, and her car was found at the trailhead. Crews searched overnight and again all day Tuesday. They set up a command center in the nearby town of Kingston. Air searches joined the ground and K9 searches Wednesday.

Wednesday morning, September 1st, Beshara-Cox walked out of the woods toward two utility workers who were working on a water line. They led her to safety. She was about 1 mile from her car, near the trail entrance. Beshara-Cox was “OK” after spending two nights in the woods and went home Wednesday afternoon, search and rescue teams told 40/29 News.

She gotten turned around and lost in the fog and rough terrain. Hawksbill Crag, also known as Whitaker Point, is a popular place for hiking and photography. It’s about 90 minutes southeast of Fayetteville, and is a highlight of the Ozark National Forest.
