According to azcentral,
Mohave County deputies spent the weekend searching for a California man who went missing on Friday, July 30, 2021, in the Colorado River just outside Bullhead City.
On Friday at approximately 7:40p, deputies with the Mohave County Sheriff’s Office responded to a call of three people struggling to stay afloat in the Colorado River. Two women, who were not identified, managed to return to shore with the assistance of witnesses, according to a statement from the department.
The man, identified as 35-year-old Reyes Augustin Munoz-Rodriguez from Fullerton, California, was not found when officials arrived. Bullhead City Police and park rangers from Davis Camp searched waterways on the river that evening for Munoz-Rodriguez but were unable to find him.
Divers from the Sheriff’s Office and an Air Ranger helicopter from the Department of Public Safety joined in the search on Saturday morning. Search efforts continued through Sunday afternoon with officials focusing on an area of the Colorado River between Rotary Park and the mouth of Lake Havasu, according to police.
