About Rachel Lakoduk's case

According to Skagit Breaking Community News, Prior to her disappearance, Rachel reportedly told her family that she was headed out to Hidden Lake Trail and would be hiking about seven miles to a popular lookout cabin, where she would spend the night with the intention of returning the next day then meeting a friend. After her family learned that she could not be reached by the friend after several attempts, they called authorities, who found Rachel’s vehicle at the trailhead but she has not been heard from since. Heavy Fog, rain and snow hampered search and rescue efforts and rescuers had to turn back several times before they were able to reach the cabin. On another attempt, rescuers reached the cabin but Rachel was not found in the cabin. Skagit County Undersheriff Chad Clark had told reporters at the time that “it didn’t look like she had been there at all.”
