David left his workplace around 3p on the afternoon of Thursday, January 7, 2021; he used his credit card to get gas at a Sheetz in Hagerstown and went missing after leaving that store. He was reported missing on January 11, 2021.

David’s vehicle was located at 8:30 a.m. Thursday, January 14, 2021, when Washington County Sheriff’s deputies were sent to a site on McCoy’s Ferry Road, near the Potomac River, south of Interstate 70 near Big Pool, Maryland, for an abandoned vehicle report. Officers confirmed the vehicle was David’s, but no further developments were made.
