The missing hiker was found deceased at the base of Upper Yosemite Falls at Yosemite National Park on January 16, 2021. Next of kin have been notified. Initially posted: Missing NPF is following details pertaining to a missing hiker in the Upper Yosemite Fall Overlook at Yosemite National Park. She is 41 years old and had departed for a day hike in the area. She has not established communication with anyone since. “Alice” Yu Xie is 5 feet tall, less than 100 pounds and has neck-length black hair. No clothing description has been released, but it is known that she was hiking with a small green backpack. Evidence suggests she had traveled from Mariposa to Yosemite on the Yosemite Area Regional Transportation System on Thursday, January 14, 2021. “Alice” is a Chinese national living in the United States.
