LIBERTY – State Police at Liberty were called to Route 97 in the Town of Highland for a possible drowning at 10:35p on Saturday, June 26, 2021.
Initial investigation indicates that Louis Pellot, 31, of Brooklyn, entered the water from a campsite, became fatigued and was seen struggling in the water. He went under and was not seen.
His body was recovered by members of the Matamoras, Pennsylvania Fire Department.
The drowning is under investigation.
