Albemarle County Sheriff’s Office

The Albemarle County Sheriff’s Office has been serving the citizens of Albemarle County Since 1745. The Sheriff’s Office has been an accredited agency since 2002. We currently have 23 full time and 2 part time deputies and a Reserve Division of 60 sworn volunteers.
