A Vancouver woman was found dead in the Mount Hood National Forest on Sunday, November 28, 2021, according to local authorities. Deputies are now asking to hear from anyone who knew her or had contact with her before November 28, 2021. According to the Hood River County Sheriff’s Office, 34-year-old Christyne Meier died in the forest. Further information on the circumstances of her death was not released by authorities.

The sheriff’s office said investigators are seeking information from anyone who had contact with her before Sunday. Those with information are asked to call the sheriff’s office tip line at 541-387-7077.
