William Dickenson was last known to be under Arch Rock of Yosemite National Park on May 27, 1945. He has not been found.
According to, Death, Daring, and Disaster: Search and Rescue in the National Parks written by Charles R. Farabee, Dickenson's car was found in the Merced River near Yosemite National Park.
