According to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution, In Lumpkin County, a 15-year-old was swimming with family members Monday afternoon, May 31, 2021, in Dicks Creek within the Chattahoochee National Forest when he slipped on a rock and went under, the Department of Natural Resources said. The body of the 15-year-old was shortly found after the incident was reported.
