As far as we understand, Forest Road 338 turns into Needlerock Road (Service Road 20). This road runs alongside Need Rock Recreation Site, which is about 2,500 feet from Camp Creek Campground, running parallel to the Verde River.
The location where Rodriguez's body was found has not been released.
Jesus Rodriguez was last seen by dirt bikers on December 20, 2020 who reported helping Rodriguez free his vehicle that managed to get stuck in Tonto National Forest. The day before, on December 19th, Rodriguez had left his sister's home, borrowing her car to go see a friend. The Maricopa County Sheriff's Office notified the public about Rodriquez's disappearance on December 24, 2020.
Later that day, his sister's vehicle was found, unoccupied, on Forest Road 338 near Camp Creek Wash in Tonto National Forest. On January 2, 2021, his body was found.
According to officials, his body showed no signs of trauma or foul play, and they have not released where his body was found.
