Unidentified skeletal remains were found near the entrance of Mount Rainier National Park on private property.

The bodies of two men were discovered by Park Rangers at Mount Rainier’s Tolmie Peak.

Eckles’ body is assumed to still be somewhere in/near the Okanogan-Wenatchee National Forest, a forest that spans 2.2 million acres, extending 135 miles along the east side of the Cascade Mountains.
